Last updated: September 8, 2026 · CCA Homeschool Program (“CCA”, “we”, “us”)
Before publishing, fill in: the legal name of the person or family operating CCA, a contact method, and the state whose law applies. These are marked with brackets below.
1. What this is
CCA is a private homeschool dashboard operated by [Operator name] for the students in our program. It shows course information, schedules, grades, and messages, and it lets families manage their own profiles. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Who may use it
The site is intended for members of the CCA program and their parents or guardians. Students under 18 may use the site only with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian, who is responsible for the student’s use and for the profile created for them. You must not share sign-in details with anyone outside your household or program.
3. Accounts and passwords
Profiles and passwords are created and stored on the device you use. You are responsible for keeping your device secure and for anything done through a profile on your device. Choose a password that is not used elsewhere, and tell us right away if you believe a profile has been misused.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the site for anything unlawful; upload content that is offensive, infringing, or that you do not have the right to use, including photos of other people without their permission; attempt to interfere with or gain unauthorized access to the site or its hosting; or copy or redistribute course materials in violation of their owners’ rights.
5. Course information and third parties
Course descriptions on the site are reproduced from the Clonlara School High School Online Course Catalog and are provided for reference only. Course availability, credits, prerequisites, and fees are set by Clonlara School and Edmentum EdOptions Academy and may change without notice. Official enrollment, tuition, grades, and transcripts are handled by Clonlara School under its own policies, not through this site. Clonlara School, Edmentum, EdOptions Academy, and Genius are trademarks of their respective owners, who are not affiliated with this site and have not endorsed it.
6. Your content
Names, photos, and other content you add remain yours and stay on your device. By adding content you confirm you have the right to use it. We do not receive a copy of it.
7. No warranty
The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no promises that it will be accurate, uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. Grades, progress, and schedules shown on the site are for family reference and are not official records.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, [Operator name] will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to the amount you paid us to use it, which is zero.
9. Changes and ending access
We may update the site or these terms at any time. The “last updated” date above shows when the terms last changed, and continued use after a change means you accept the new terms. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [State], without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the courts located in [County, State].
11. Contact
Questions about these terms: contact the CCA program administrator at [contact method].
Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 8, 2026 · CCA Homeschool Program
The short version: this site has no server-side accounts. Everything you enter is stored in your own browser on your own device. We do not collect, receive, sell, or share your personal information.
1. Information stored on your device
When you use the site, the following is saved in your browser’s local storage so the site works between visits:
- Profile details you enter: names, roles, and chosen colors.
- Profile photos you upload, resized to a small square image.
- Passwords, stored only as a one-way SHA-256 hash, never as plain text.
- We do not ask for or store email addresses.
- Which profile is signed in and which was used last.
- Course enrollments, dashboard settings, and messages sent between accounts on this device.
This information never leaves your device unless you sync your browser yourself. We cannot see it, recover it, or delete it for you.
2. Information we do not collect
We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, or third-party scripts. We do not require you to create an account with us, and no form on the site sends data to us.
3. Hosting
The site is delivered by our hosting provider, Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify may automatically record technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, for security and operations. That data is handled under Netlify’s privacy policy.
4. Links to other sites
The site links to Clonlara School’s website and course catalog. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them. Any information you give Clonlara School or Edmentum when enrolling is governed by their policies.
5. Children’s privacy
The site is built for families, and student profiles are created and controlled by a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and because no information is transmitted to us, no child’s information is held by us. The program administrator’s account can view, change, or delete any student profile at any time from Settings › Manage profiles. If you believe information about a child has reached us in some other way, contact us and we will delete it.
6. Security
Passwords are hashed in your browser before being stored. Local storage itself is not encrypted, so anyone with access to your device and browser profile could view stored names and photos. Protect your device with a passcode, sign out on shared devices, and clear the site’s data if you stop using it.
7. Your choices
- Edit your own profile and photo from Settings. Only the program administrator’s account (Evan) can edit or remove other profiles under Settings › Manage profiles.
- Erase everything the site has stored by clearing site data for this website in your browser settings.
- Use a private or incognito window if you do not want anything kept after you close the browser.
8. Changes to this policy
If we ever start collecting information, we will update this policy before doing so and change the date at the top.
9. Contact
Privacy questions: contact the CCA program administrator at [contact method].
Cookie Policy
Last updated: September 8, 2026 · CCA Homeschool Program
1. We do not set cookies
This site does not place cookies on your device, and it does not use third-party cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies.
2. We do use browser local storage
To remember you between visits, the site keeps a small amount of information in your browser’s local storage. This is strictly necessary for the site to work and is used for nothing else:
| Item | Purpose | Kept until |
| cca_profiles_v1 | Profiles, photos, hashed passwords, and enrollments you create | You delete it |
| cca_session | Which profile is currently signed in | You sign out |
| cca_last | Which profile was used last, so it is highlighted on the sign-in screen | You delete it |
| cca_enrollments_v1 | Which courses each student is enrolled in | You delete it |
| cca_messages_v1 | Messages sent between accounts on this device | You delete it |
| cca_notice | That you have seen the storage notice, so it is not shown again | You delete it |
3. Hosting provider
Our hosting provider, Netlify, serves the site’s files. Netlify does not set cookies for static sites like this one, but its own use of technical data is described in Netlify’s privacy policy.
4. Managing storage
You can clear everything the site has stored from your browser’s settings. In Safari, use Settings, Privacy, Manage Website Data. In Chrome, use Settings, Privacy and security, Site settings, then find this site. In Firefox, use Settings, Privacy & Security, Manage Data. Clearing the data removes all profiles and signs everyone out on that device.
5. Consent
Because the site only uses storage that is strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for, no consent banner is required in most jurisdictions. We still show a one-time notice the first time you visit so you know information is being kept on your device.
6. Contact
Questions about this policy: contact the CCA program administrator at [contact method].
