1. What this is
CCA is a private homeschool dashboard operated by Evan, the program administrator, for the students in our program. It shows classes, assignments and messages, and lets each person manage their own profile. Administrators can also keep New York home instruction records here; that section is an organizer, not legal advice, and parents remain responsible for what they file with their school district. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Who may use it
The site is for members of the CCA program and their parents or guardians. Students under 18 use the site with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian, who is responsible for the student’s use. Accounts are created by the program administrator and must not be shared with anyone outside the program.
3. Accounts and passwords
Accounts are created only by the administrator. Each account has a password of at least six characters. Keep it private, choose one that is not used elsewhere, and tell the administrator right away if you believe an account has been misused. The administrator can reset any password and can remove an account, which deletes its profile, classes, assignments and messages.
3a. Supervision
Because this is a homeschool program run by a parent, the administrator can see every student’s classes, assignments and messages. Messages inside the site are not private from the administrator.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the site for anything unlawful; upload content that is offensive, infringing, or that you do not have the right to use, including photos of other people without their permission; attempt to interfere with or gain unauthorized access to the site, its database or its hosting; or copy or redistribute course materials in violation of their owners’ rights.
5. Course information and third parties
Course descriptions are reproduced from the Clonlara School High School Online Course Catalog for reference only. Availability, credits, prerequisites and fees are set by Clonlara School and Edmentum EdOptions Academy and may change without notice. Official enrollment, tuition, grades and transcripts are handled by Clonlara School under its own policies, not through this site. Clonlara School, Edmentum, EdOptions Academy and Genius are trademarks of their owners, who are not affiliated with this site and have not endorsed it.
6. Your content
Names, photos, wallpapers, messages and other content you add remain yours. By adding content you confirm you have the right to use it. It is stored in our database so it can be shown to you and to the people you share it with, as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. No warranty
The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no promises that it will be accurate, uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose. Assignments and class lists on the site are for family reference and are not official records.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of CCA will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to the amount you paid us to use it, which is zero.
9. Changes and ending access
We may update the site or these terms at any time. The “last updated” date shows when the terms last changed, and continued use after a change means you accept the new terms. We may suspend or remove any account that breaks these terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which the program administrator resides, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of that state.

Privacy Policy

The short version: your profile, classes, assignments and messages, plus the home instruction records administrators keep, are stored in a private database so they follow you between devices. We do not sell or share them, we do not run analytics or ads, and we never ask for an email address.
1. What we store
- Profile details: your name, sign-in name, role, grade, chosen colors and theme.
- Profile photos and chat wallpapers you upload, resized before storage.
- Your classes (course enrollments) and assignments, including whether they are done.
- Messages you send and receive inside the site, with the time they were sent.
- For administrators only: New York home instruction records for each student. These include date of birth, grade, instruction plans (IHIPs), quarterly reports with hours and grades, annual test scores or written evaluations, uploaded score reports, stored documents such as letters of intent, transcripts and program agreements, and the family’s address and school district details.
- Your password, stored only in hashed form by our authentication provider. We cannot read it.
2. Where it is stored
Data is stored with Supabase, our database and authentication provider, in a data center in the United States (Ohio). Supabase processes it on our behalf under its privacy policy. The site’s files are delivered by Netlify, which may log technical data such as IP addresses for security under Netlify’s privacy policy.
3. Who can see what
- Anyone opening the sign-in screen can see the list of account names and pictures.
- Each student can see their own classes, assignments and messages only.
- A family account can see one student’s classes and assignments, and its own messages. It cannot change anything, and it cannot open home instruction records or stored documents.
- Program administrators can see every student’s classes, assignments and messages, so a parent or teacher can supervise. Messages are not private from the administrators. Only the lead administrator’s account can add or remove classes for other people.
- Home instruction records and stored documents are visible only to administrators. Students cannot see them, including their own. Uploaded files are kept in private storage and open only through links that expire after five minutes.
4. What we do not collect
No analytics, advertising or tracking pixels. The only outside code is two open-source libraries delivered by the jsDelivr network: the database client, and the 3D graphics library that draws the spinning crest on the sign-in screen. No email addresses. Sign-in uses an internal identifier that is never displayed and never receives mail.
5. Children’s privacy
The site is built for families. Student accounts are created and controlled by the program administrators, who are parents or guardians; only administrators can add or remove accounts, and only the lead administrator can add other administrators. We do not collect information from children beyond what the administrator enters and what students add to their own profile, classes and messages. Parents can review or delete a student’s information at any time from Settings, or by asking the administrator.
6. Security
Data travels over HTTPS and is protected by row-level access rules, so an account can only read what this policy says it can. Passwords are hashed. Protect your device with a passcode and sign out on shared devices.
7. Your choices
- Edit your name, picture, theme and wallpaper from Settings.
- Ask the administrator to correct or delete any of your data. Removing an account deletes its profile, classes, assignments, messages, home instruction records and the files stored for that student. Documents stored for the whole family stay until an administrator deletes them.
- Signing out clears the sign-in token stored in your browser.
8. Changes
If what we collect changes, we will update this policy and the date at the top before the change takes effect.

Cookie Policy

1. Cookies
The site does not set cookies, and it uses no third-party, advertising or analytics cookies.
2. Browser storage we use
To keep you signed in and remember your preferences, the site keeps a small amount of information in your browser’s local storage. All of it is strictly necessary for the site to work:

3. Hosting and database providers
Netlify serves the site’s files, jsDelivr delivers two open-source code libraries, and Supabase provides the database. None of them sets cookies for this site, and their handling of technical data is described in their own privacy policies.
4. Managing storage
Clear this site’s data from your browser settings at any time. In Safari: Settings, Privacy, Manage Website Data. In Chrome: Settings, Privacy and security, Site settings. Clearing it signs you out on that device; your account data stays safe in the database.
5. Consent
Because only strictly necessary storage is used, no consent banner is required in most jurisdictions. A one-time notice is shown on first visit.
